Abstract Genetic improvement of okra for yield is significant because the nutritional, economic and health benefits inherent in it to overcome low genetic potential existing varieties environmental factors which are major constraints yield. Therefore, this study was carried out understand nature yield, its association with components on selection can be made determine effect different years gain. The experiment involved evaluation twenty accessions rainy seasons year 2019 2020 a randomised complete block design. Data were collected fourteen characters analysed. Genotype × Year highly all analysed characters. High heritability high advance as percent mean recorded most both indicating that these traits less influenced by environment presence additive gene action. Genotypic coefficient variation, observed higher some but lower those 2020. Pod had positive correlation only plant height at 50% flowering, pod length, number seeds per pods peduncle length while remaining negatively correlated except petiole plant. based could rewarding may not considered years.
